The Critical Magic World, Elentear (臨界魔法世界エレンティア Rinkai Mahō Sekai Erentia) is an alternate world parallel to Earth Land and Edolas. The world of Elentear has various heavenly bodies in its sky and tangible cloud-like islands that can support multiple people, as well as having a vast ocean surrounded by islands. The sky is colored green during the day and has a single moon that doesn't wax or wane, so it stays a full moon at all times. This world also has various mountains, a snowy area where snow rises up from the ground and into the sky and forests with sentient plants.
As Erza fights Motherglare, she is put off by her opponent's willingness to use her children as shields. Motherglare, along with the supposedly defeated Anchor and Earth Build then take on their Dragon forms.

After the over-expansion of Magic Power paralyzing Team Natsu, Irene helps tap into memories of Wendy’s struggles that allow them over exceed their limit, destroying Alta Face in the process and restore Elentear's peace. Team Natsu return to Earth Land, spending time with their Guild at a bar while Lucy worry internally about the whereabouts of Selene and Suzaku. Meanwhile, Selene has been captured and taken to Diabolos where she killed Georg Reizen and has all the members of the Diabolos reluctantly fall in line. Meanwhile, Team Natsu departs to resume the quest.
